From small town to metropolitan, Wake County has a variety of neighborhoods and communities to suit your budget and lifestyle. I am very knowledgeable of the various communities and the amenities that each has to offer. Below is a list of the area's towns and cities that highlights some of their features. Apex, NC

Apex has a small town feel. The restored downtown is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The streets of downtown are lined with antique, specialty shops and a tea house. Jordan Lake is nearby for recreational activities. Enjoy your custom built home in one of the many new communities this growing town has to offer. In 2007, Apex was named the 14th best place to live in the US by Money Magazine.

 

Cary, NC

Looking for a suburban lifestyle? Cary is close to Raleigh, the state's capital. There's easy access to I-40 and Research Triangle Park (home to over companies). Cary offers a variety of activities from parks (Bond Park and ) and golf courses to Cary Town Center to the Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival. Picture yourself living in your custom home on a golf course or in the Prestigious Preston subdivison. Cary was recognized by Money Magazine as one of the Best Small Cities in America, ranking fifth on the magazine's 2006 list of Best Places to Live.

Fuquay-Varina, NC

Fuquay-Varina is about a 30 minute commute to Raleigh. The area was once famous for its Historic Fuquay Mineral Springs Park, which is on the site of a natural flowing mineral spring. You can admire the Victorian, Craftsman and Colonial Revival Homes of the late 1800's and early 1900's in one part of town and then go home to the nearby planned community of South Lakes.

Holly Springs, NC

This family oriented, small town has been compared to Cary but the cost of living is less. Holly Springs is home to the Carolina Brewing Company. Have a custom built home in a traditional community or buy one in the planned community of Sunset Ridge. Population of 18, 214 in 2006, this is a growing area in Wake County. You'll have an easy commute to Research Triangle Park.

Morrisville, NC

Morrisville provides quick access to I-40 and I-540 to take you to the nearby Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) and Research Triangle Park (RTP), home to more than 170 companies. Morrisville is also home to the Chatham Hill Winery, which is the only winery in Wake County, and to the Morrisville Outlet Mall. Choose from several communities, including Kitts Creek, Twin Lakes and Breckenridge. Morrisville is another fast growing area of Wake County due to its proximity to Research Triangle Park.

North Raleigh

Old and young alike live in the North Raleigh area. From great golf communities like North Ridge to the planned community of Bedford at Falls River -- there is certainly something here for everyone. Many neighborhoods have shopping and conveniences nearby and are within walking distance. The area is dotted with city parks such as Shelley Lake, Durant Road Nature Park, Optimist Park and Millbrook Exchange Park, all offer superb walking and biking trails.

Raleigh, NC

Raleigh is a dynamic city. It is constantly expanding with a new Raleigh Convention Center, the Fayetteville Street Mall area, restaurants, night clubs along Glenwood South, arts & culture, sporting events, museums, shopping malls, educational institutions and more. Architecture ranges from original bungalow homes in Raleigh's Five Points area to custom built Arts & Crafts style homes in Suncrest Village and a more upscale Madison Park and Inside the Beltline area. Raleigh has a vast Greenway system complete with biking and walking trails. Enjoy boating at Lake Benson, wonderful music in the summer along Lake Wheeler or strolling over the walkway at Lake Johnson.

Wake Forest, NC

The downtown has a historic feel with charming shops, family-oriented areas like the Factory (ice skating rink, go-karting and all sorts of fun for the children). Wake Forest is just off Highway 1. Triangle Town Center and the Falls Lake Recreation Area are nearby. Wake Forest has a variety of homes from older Southern style to the new Heritage, a premier golf and lifestyle community. Wake Forest is celebrating its Centennial Anniversary this year (2009). Wake Forest is home to the Southeastern Baptist Seminary and Southeastern College. Downtown Wake Forest is an officially registered Historic District and boasts over 100 businesses, restaurants and shops. Wake Forest has a population of over 26,000 residents.
